With physical trade fairs all shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Chinese trade promotion authorities are experimenting with new virtual models. On Monday, a China-Africa virtual expo kicked off, reportedly with more than a thousand exhibitors from both regions and organizers say they’re confident that some 10,000 people will attend the week and a half event.
