China’s Outgoing Ambassador to Kenya Makes the Rounds to Say Good-bye

China’s outgoing ambassador to Kenya, Wu Peng, is making the rounds to various government ministers to say good-bye ahead of his return to Beijing where he will be assigned a new, still unannounced posting. On Tuesday, Ambassador Wu paid a visit to Kenyan Interior Minister Fred Matiang’i and he also took park in a virtual farewell ceremony hosted by Foreign Affairs Minister Monica Juma.

The Chinese embassy has not communicated what day Ambassador Wu will depart.
