Thailand Urges U.S. to Limit Tariffs to 10% Before Deadline

With just days left before the deadline, Thailand is urging the United States to cap new reciprocal tariffs on Thai goods at 10%, as Bangkok races to avoid steep increases that could climb as high as 36%.

Thailand’s Finance Minister Pichai Chunhavajira arrived in Washington to lead final negotiations aimed at shielding Thai exports from a broader U.S. tariff review.
