Vietnam Seeks Jet Fuel Lifeline From China

Vietnam’s civil aviation authority formally called on its Chinese counterpart to provide badly-needed supplies of jet fuel in response to the ongoing closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

The appeal from Hanoi was timed to follow Vietnam Communist Party General Secretary To Lam’s trip to China earlier this month and to capitalize on the goodwill generated from the visit.
