A video of a China Coast Guard ship stalking a small Malaysian fishing craft went viral on Tuesday on both Facebook and X.

The undated video was purportedly shot within Malaysia’s exclusive economic zone near Terumbu Sahap in South Luconia Shoals, indicating that Beijing may be trying to enforce its ten-dash line territorial boundary, which encompasses the bulk of the South China Sea, even within waters that are widely accepted to be Malaysia’s.
