Ghanaian Court Jails the Notorious Chinese “Galamsey Queen” for Illegal Mining

Aisha Huang will spend the next four and a half years in a Ghanaian jail cell after the Accra High Court handed down a ruling on Monday that dominated the news in the West African country.

Huang, who was known as the “Galamsey Queen” for running a massive illegal mining operation in Ghana, will also have to pay a $4,000 fine.
