I currently work as an Economic Research Fellow at an African-based think tank. Prior to this, I worked as a Nordic and European economist covering central banking and employing machine learning in econometric analysis. I forecast and write thematic research on fiscal policy, the economic and climate transition as well as monetary economics. I contribute to a number of global newspapers, risk consultancies and economic journals.
I also have over 5 years’ experience in both up and downstream oil markets, writing thematic pieces and forecasting medium-term oil outlook for oil majors. I build algorithms in other to forecast global commodity prices in real time, and currently constructing an index designed to quantify the price effects of geopolitical outcomes.
Furthermore, I also worked closely with West African finance ministers, demographers and policymakers on the Demographic Dividend - a project designed to help French-speaking African countries leverage their demographic transitions.
