Asian Airlines Move to Buy Boeing Jets Refused by China

At least two major Asian airlines are in talks with Boeing to buy some of the planes that were rejected by Chinese carriers as part of the escalating U.S.-China trade war.

Air India is reportedly seeking to acquire 10 of the 737 Max jets that Chinese customers refused to buy. Malaysian Airlines is also in talks with the U.S. aircraft manufacturer to buy an unspecified number of planes that were originally bound for China.
