Philippine Navy Holds Exercise Near China-Controlled Reef

The Philippine Navy said its warships held exercises on Friday in the South China Sea as part of its efforts to assert its sovereign rights over waters, which Beijing also claimed.

China claims most of the strategic waterway despite an international ruling that its assertion has no legal basis.
