Vietnamese Foreign Minister Bùi Thanh Sơn will head to Beijing on Monday for bilateral talks with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi.

This week’s meetings between the two ministers are not tied to any specific issue or events, according to Hanoi’s envoy to Beijing Phạm Sao Mai. The ambassador told VietnamPlus that the focus of the talks will cover a wide range of issues, from expanding trade to Chinese support for Vietnamese infrastructure initiatives. (VIETNAMPLUS)
