India and China are moving quickly to disengage their forces from three key sectors along their contentious border known as the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

Satellite photos released late last week revealed that Chinese troops removed encampments and other structures in the Depsang and Demchok plains high up in the Tibetan plateau.
