Chinese state media published a video on Sunday that purportedly shows at least two Filipino soldiers pointing weapons towards the crew of China Coast Guard patrol that approached the decrepit World War II-era warship ground on the disputed Second Thomas Shoal in the South China Sea.

The incident took place after a Philippine aircraft dropped supplies and other provisions for the crew aboard the vessel. At least two China Coast Guard dinghies with outboard motors can be seen approaching the Sierra Madre warship when, according to the CCTV footage, the Filipino soldiers pointed their weapons at the Chinese crews.
