Chinese and Philippine Coast Guard vessels confronted one another again in the South China Sea on Tuesday, with both sides accusing each other of provoking this latest incident.

The Chinese side claims Philippines ships, including an accompanying Coast Guard vessel, were blocked from entering waters near the disputed Second Thomas Shoal.
