Nigeria Eyes BRICS Membership

Nigeria hopes to become a member of the BRICS group of emerging economies in the next two years, according to Minister of Foreign Affairs Yusuf Tuggar. It also wants to join the G20.

Tuggar told Bloomberg that “Nigeria has come of age to decide for itself who her partners should be and where they should be. Being multiple aligned is in our best interest.”
