The Truly Ridiculous Fox News Conspiracy Theory About Bill Gates, China and Africa

Philanthropist and Microsoft founder Bill Gates met with Xi Jinping last week, the first time in years that the Chinese president had held a one-on-one session with a Western business leader.

The meeting itself was largely unremarkable but that didn’t stop Fox News host and prominent conspiracy theorist Jesse Watters from coming up with a wild fantasy that linked Gates’ visit with Xi to Chinese cobalt mines in the DR Congo and ultimately to Microsoft itself.
