Bob Pickard, the former head of communications at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank in Beijing, is now back home in Vancouver after he accused the Communist Party of China (CPC) of secretly interfering in the bank’s operations.

Pickard made the accusation in a controversial resignation letter that he submitted last Thursday and then immediately fled the country for Japan, reportedly fearing for his safety.
