Kenya’s highest court ruled the government does not have to reveal the contract for the controversial Standard Gauge Railway (SGR).

Friday’s ruling overturned a 2020 Appeals Court ruling that claimed the government had indeed flouted procurement disclosure laws when it refused to publish the terms of the contract with China Export-Import Bank for the $3.6 billion railway.
