Uganda’s Parliament Ends Probe Into Entebbe Airport Contract With China Exim Bank

The parliamentary investigation into the Ugandan government’s $200 million loan contract with the China Exim Bank to expand the Entebbe International Airport is now closed.

Opposition MP Joel Ssenyonyi (photo) who led the inquiry said it’s too late to rectify the deal and its numerous “bad” terms without subjecting the country to “dire consequences.”
