Armed Chinese and Ugandan Commandos Conduct Rare Joint Operation

New details are emerging of a rare joint operation that took place last month between armed Chinese and Ugandan commandos. The operation led to the arrest of half of an eight-member criminal gang wanted by Chinese authorities.

The late-night raid conducted by a team of Ugandan Special Forces together with 15 Chinese commandos took place at an apartment building in the city of Mbara near the Rwandan border on December 29th.
