Tanzania To Open New Consulate in Guangzhou

Tanzania plans to expand its diplomatic presence in China with the opening of a new consulate in the southern city of Guangzhou. 

In his announcement on Friday, Ambassador Mbelwa Kairuki said the focus of the new mission will be to enhance trading and tourism ties throughout southern China. Guangzhou is also home to the largest African diaspora population in Asia.
