Marina Rudyak on Chinese aid and South-South Cooperation

Marina Rudyak, a lecturer at the Institute of Chinese Studies at Heidelberg University in Germany and a well-regarded expert on China’s foreign aid programs in Africa, was a recent guest on the “In Pursuit of Development Podcast” hosted by Dani Banik.

Mariana’s insights on the show are worthwhile listening both because of her expertise in Chinese international development assistance and also because she approaches the issue with a distinctly European perspective that often contrasts with those from other legacy donors in Washington, Tokyo, Ottawa and elsewhere.
