Until now, his reporting on the issue has been quite measured, with straightforward stories on the progress of various debt talks, borrowing rates, and so on.
But the story he published yesterday is notable because it included a warning for the rest of the world: “Africa’s struggle is becoming a global problem.” In the article he warned that any restructuring of Africa’s current debts could drag on for years, possibly even decades.
