China Eyeing Nigeria for Military Aircraft Sale

China is reportedly marketing its Y-20 Kunfeng military plane to foreign buyers. In December, Nigerian Defence Minister Mohammed Badaru Abubakar was shown the Y-20BE model during a visit to Beijing, and it also attracted attention at the Dubai Air Show during the same month.

The Y-20 (nicknamed “Chubby Girl”) is comparable to the U.S. Boeing C-17 and is used to airlift large numbers of people or heavy equipment. (SOUTH CHINA MORNING POST)
