KC is an ecologist and photojournalist with an interest in community-based natural resource management and traditional ecological knowledge. She is fascinated by the shifting dynamics and values between technology, culture, and nature, and uses photography as a tool for storytelling. She has been documenting how traditional reindeer herding culture in Norway and Finland has been impacted by climate change since 2017. She hopes to show that there will always be more that connects, rather than divides us. At the moment, KC freelances in Nairobi, splitting her time between East Africa, the Arctic, and New Hampshire.
