Pakistan Army Chief Munir Briefs China on Iran Peace Talks During Beijing Visit

Pakistan’s central role in mediating a resolution to the ongoing U.S.-Israeli war against Iran was a constant theme during Prime Minister Shahed Sharif’s visit to Beijing. Sharif was praised by both President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang for his efforts to end the conflict.

While Sharif was meeting with Xi and Li on Tuesday, his defense chief, Asim Munir, briefed Foreign Minister Wang Yi on the status of the peace talks.
