China’s top diplomat Wang Yi will travel to India on Monday to meet with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. Wang and Doval will meet in their shared capacities as special representatives on border issues. U.S. authorities have secretly placed tracking devices in some advanced chips they suspect are at risk of being illegally sold to China. Until recently, Malaysia and Singapore have been among the more popular transshipment hubs for AI chips that are under U.S. export restrictions.
