China’s Trade With Southeast Asia Jumps in First Quarter of the Year

Chinese trade with the ten countries in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) increased to $233 billion in the first three months of the year, a 7.1% increase compared to the same period in 2024.

The region now accounts for 16% of China’s total global trade, according to new data released on Tuesday by the General Administration of Customs in Beijing.
