China Planning Joint Security Company with Myanmar Junta

Myanmarese press reports say China proposed establishing a shared security firm with the country’s ruling military junta. The reports say the junta formed a working committee in October to prepare a memorandum of understanding for the potential company.

The 13-member committee will investigate options to import weapons and other military equipment.
