Two Chinese nationals were wounded after a private security guard opened fire at a garment factory in Karachi. An unnamed police official reportedly said that the guard hasn’t been arrested and that no motive has yet been ascertained.

However, Bloomberg reported that an initial police investigation found that the incident wasn’t linked to political or religious militancy. A police spokesperson said the shooting followed an altercation between the guard and the two victims. Both are still being treated, and one is reportedly in a serious condition.
