South African President Ramaphosa Arrives in China for State Visit Ahead of FOCAC Summit

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa was among a large number of African leaders who landed in Beijing over the weekend ahead of this week’s Forum on China-Africa Cooperation summit that begins on Wednesday.

But Ramaphosa’s schedule will be slightly different than his peers, as he will take part in an official state visit on Monday and Tuesday that will include talks with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping.
