Taiwan Backs Ally Palau After Reported Cyberattack

Taiwan said it was ready to help diplomatic ally Palau beef up its digital defenses after the Pacific archipelago was reportedly targeted in a major cyberattack.

More than 20,000 documents were stolen from Palau’s government just as the United States agreed to a two-decade aid package for the Pacific state earlier this year, the New York Times said in a weekend report.
