The Chinese contractor that built a new $50 million transportation university in northern Nigeria formally handed over the facility on Friday to the Federal government at a ceremony in the capital, Abuja.

The new university was built as part of a corporate social responsibility initiative to help train local engineers and technicians to operate several of the new Chinese-built railways and light rail systems that have been completed in recent years. (THE GUARDIAN)
