China Hosts Palestinian Reconciliation Talks Between Hamas and Fatah

Negotiators from the rival Palestinian factions that govern the West Bank and the Gaza Strip are in Beijing for talks brokered by the Chinese government.

Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Wang Wenbin confirmed at the regular press briefing on Friday that representatives from the two sides arrived late last week to discuss Palestinian reconciliation and the management of post-war Gaza.
