India’s External Affairs Minister, S. Jaishankar, scoffed at the release of a list of 30 locations recently re-named by Chinese authorities in the disputed Himalayan region known as Zangnan in China and Arunachal Pradesh in India.

China’s Ministry of Civil Affairs published an updated list of locations in the disputed territory last week, which immediately triggered an angry response from New Delhi.
