Possible Sino-Nigerian Steel Plant

The Chinese company Luan Steel Holding Group and the Nigerian government could work together to set up a steel plant, according to a statement from the country’s Minister of Steel Development, Prince Shuaibu Audu.

The statement said the Nigerian federal government and Luan are in talks to establish a new steel plant and to produce unnamed “military hardware” at Nigeria’s current Ajaokuta steel plant.
