Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi wrapped up a two-day visit to Hanoi on Saturday, where he held high-level talks with the leadership as part of the China-Vietnam Steering Committee for Bilateral Cooperation.

Wang’s visit is also widely seen as an advance trip in preparation for Chinese President Xi Jinping’s expected arrival sometime later this month.
