Huawei Expands Digital Power Products With New Distribution Deal in East Africa

Huawei will significantly increase the availability of its new energy products through a distribution deal with the Kenya-based water equipment company Davis & Shirtliff

The Chinese technology giant Huawei, once known only for phones and switches, is now pivoting quickly in East Africa to expand beyond telecommunications to new energy storage services in a new, rapidly expanding market.

Huawei signed a distribution deal last week with Kenya-based water and energy equipment company Davis & Shirtliff to distribute the Chinese company’s energy products that include solar power inverters and large backup batteries.
