Hannah Ryder Explains Why the China-Africa Trade Expo is Important

Hannah Ryder, CEO of Development Reimagined, speaking on the Chinese state-run broadcaster CGTN about the China-Africa trade expo now underway in Changsha, Hunan.

The China-Africa trade expo that’s now underway in the central Chinese province of Hunan provides a unique opportunity for African exporters of finished goods to meet directly with Chinese buyers, said Hannah Ryder, CEO of Development Reimagined, in an interview this weekend with Chinese state-broadcaster CGTN.

Ryder explained that these kinds of trade shows are extremely important to help bolster Africa’s manufacturing sector and to develop new sources of economic growth that will power the recovery in the post-pandemic era.
