South Africa’s State Security Agency, the country’s intelligence service, has concluded there is a “high likelihood” that ANC MP Xiaomei Havard (张晓梅) may be passing on classified information to the Chinese Communist Party, according to a bombshell report published Wednesday on South Africa’s online news outlet, News24.
News24 claims to have seen the SSA report that expresses concern as to whether Havard is working directly with the CCP’s United Front Work Department (UFWD) and suggests that the recently-appointed MP also maintains ties with China’s Ministry of State Security.
