Chinese diplomats in Africa are reaffirming President Xi Jinping’s pledge to make a COVID-19 vaccine available to people across the continent once it’s tested and ready for distribution.

Fang Yi, the political attaché at the Chinese embassy in Uganda, was among a number of Chinese diplomats who took to social media on Wednesday to reaffirm this promise.
