China’s Total Global Trade Fell Last Year Except With Africa, Australia

The value of China’s total global trade dipped 5% in 2023 compared to the previous years to $5.93 trillion dollars, according to figures released by the General Administration of Customs (GAC).

Every January, the GAC releases these preliminary figures that are mostly at the regional level, with country and sector-specific results usually published around the beginning of the second quarter.
