China hosted nuclear talks with Russia and Iran on Friday, where the three countries condemned the United States for unilaterally imposing sanctions on Iran’s nuclear program without international approval.

In a joint statement released via China’s state broadcaster, they demanded the immediate removal of what they called “illegal unilateral sanctions”. They urged Washington to abandon its pressure tactics and military threats.
