Asian Ride-Hailing Grab and Chinese EV BYD to Deploy 50,000 EVs Across SE Asia

In a move that could reshape Southeast Asia’s electric vehicle (EV) landscape, ride-hailing giant Grab has teamed up with China’s BYD to deploy up to 50,000 EVs across six countries.

The partnership, announced on Wednesday, targets the financial and logistical barriers that have slowed EV adoption in the region.
