China and Peru will sign an expanded and upgraded version of their free-trade agreement (FTA) which could boost trade between them by 50%.

The new agreement, announced late last week, will be signed during Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to the country for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit. He will reportedly be accompanied by a 400-strong business delegation.
