The government of Panama has announced that it will start additional deportation flights for undocumented migrants from China, India, and Ecuador. The move is intended to stem migration flows into the United States. U.S.-financed deportation flights began earlier in August. (REUTERS)

SAIC Motor-CP, a Thai subsidiary of the Chinese electric vehicle company SAIC, plans to begin exporting EVs to Europe under its MG brand. This will make SAIC Motor-CP the first Thai-based company to export cars to the EU, and is a way to deal with high tariffs and technology disclosure measures targeting Chinese companies, said Executive Vice President Suroj Sangsnit on Friday.
