Kenya, China Prep for Upcoming FOCAC Summit in Beijing

Senior Chinese and Kenyan officials held talks in Nairobi about what will be on the agenda at the upcoming Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) summit scheduled to take place later this fall in Beijing.

The two sides met on Friday under the auspices of the Kenya-China Joint Commission on Trade, Investment, Economic, and Technical Cooperation to discuss the implementation of the outcomes from the last FOCAC gathering in Dakar back in 2018 and Nairobi’s priorities at the upcoming event.
