Only 8% of Chinese Have a Favorable View of India, Says New Tsinghua Univeristy Poll

The Chinese public is far more skeptical about relations with India than any of Beijing’s other major rivals, including the United States and Japan, according to a recent poll conducted by researchers at Tsinghua University.

Only 8% of respondents had a favorable view of India, significantly lower than the 12% favorable perception of the U.S. and 13% of Japan.
