Residents in Pakistan will now have access to a new COVID-19 vaccine that was jointly developed with China’s CanSino as part of an effort to relieve acute vaccine shortages. The new PakVac that launched on Tuesday was reportedly developed in Pakistan under the supervision of CanSino executives and scientists. (BOL NEWS)

Meantime, Hungary is the latest country to sign a local production agreement to manufacture Sinopharm vaccines. Chinese pharmaceutical companies have made similar arrangements in Egypt, the UAE, Malaysia, Indonesia, Mexico and Brazil among others. (CGTN)
