Although U.S. stakeholders have given a lot more money to COVID-19 relief in Africa than those from China, the Chinese have done much better on the PR side. 

But Judd Devermont, Director of the Africa Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS)contends that may soon change as the United States Africa Command or AFRICOM is now ramping up its COVID-19 communications efforts.
