Tweet of the Day: Alibaba Becoming a Major Business Education Center for African Students

Chinese eCommerce giant Alibaba is expanding its training and education programs for African undergraduate students with a new program specifically designed for commerce in the Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AfCTA.) It will focus on cross-border transactions and building online commerce.

This Tweet was posted by The Paper, one of China’s relatively recent online news publications specifically tailored to appeal to younger consumers. Although government-owned, The Paper and its English-language sibling Sixth Tone publish more progressive content than traditional media outlets like the People’s Daily.
